Counter-terrorism course
Location: Jamaica
Date: 31 March – 4 April 2008
Senior police officers and prosecutors from six Caribbean countries will attend a one-week counter-terrorism course in Kingston, Jamaica. Organised by Jamaica’s Justice Training Institute in partnership with the Commonwealth Secretariat, the course will cover intelligence-gathering and use, investigating terrorism and its financing, co-ordinating with border control agencies, international co-operation and other related subjects.

Stakeholders Meeting on Youth Mainstreaming
Location: Marlborough House, London
Date: 3 April 2008
The objective of the meeting is to discuss and build consensus on key issues on gender, youth and human rights. It is anticipated the outcome of the discussion will feed into the Commonwealth Youth Ministers Meeting 2008 to be held in April in Sri Lanka.
