Stakeholders Meeting on Youth Mainstreaming

The aim of this meeting is to gauge the views of High Commissioners, staff at the Commonwealth Secretariat and representatives from both private and public sector organisations on ‘youth mainstreaming’. The outcomes of these discussions will feed into the Commonwealth Youth Ministers Meeting which is being held in Sri Lanka from 27 to 30 April this year.
‘Youth mainstreaming’ is a strategy that aims to ensure that young people are fully recognised as an asset and development partner within societies.
Commonwealth Health Ministers Meeting: E-health
Location: Geneva, Switzerland

This meeting will explore the challenges and opportunities of e-health technology in the Commonwealth. It will focus on a range of e-health applications, the ethical, legal and infrastructural challenges faced when introducing e-health, and the financial and intellectual property issues that must be considered prior to the introduction of new information technologies. This meeting will be attended by the Commonwealth’s 53 Ministers of Health, senior health officials and global and regional health partners. Archbishop Tutu will be delivering the keynote address at this meeting.
